NOTICE OF APPEAL
Notice is hereby given that Defendants West Publishing Corporation, West Services Inc.
and Thomson Legal and Regulatory Inc. t/a Thomson West hereby appeal to the United States
Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit from the final judgment entered in this action on the 13th
day of April 2011, the superseded judgment that was entered on the 17th day of December 2010
(which was the subject of Defendants’ Fed. R. Civ. P. Rule 50/59 Motion), and from all prior
interlocutory orders and rulings that produced and are merged into the final judgment, including
(for the avoidance of doubt) the denial of Defendants’ Renewed Motion for Judgment as a
Matter of Law or, in the Alternative, for a New Trial, entered on the 30th day of March 2011 and
the 13th day of April 2011; and the denial of Defendant’s Motion for Reconsideration, entered
on the 13th day of April 2011.
