AND NOW, this 7th day of June, 2016, after Petitioner Shawn Cavanaugh having filed a
Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus in the above-captioned case on May 9, 2014, and after an
Answer to the Petition was filed by the Respondent on July 24, 2014, and after a Report and
Recommendation was filed by the United States Magistrate Judge on May 12, 2016 giving the
parties until May 31, 2016 to file written objections thereto, and no objections having been filed,
and upon independent review of the record, and upon consideration of the Magistrate Judge’s
Report and Recommendation, which is adopted as the Opinion of this Court,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus (ECF No. 7) is
denied.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that a Certificate of Appealability is denied.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Clerk of Court mark this case closed.
