JULY 14, 2008 STATUS CONFERENCE CASES
1:30 pm ­ Court called each case and parties announced ready for proceedings. (See attached Sign-in Sheet for Attorney Appearances). Court addressed the parties in Case No. 206cv296 Aten v Belkin regarding companion case before Judge Folsom. Court inquired whether cases could be tried together. Ms. Galvan responded. Mr. Findlay responded. Court asked Mr. Findlay to check with his client in trying cases in Tyler. Court re-called each case and parties announced whether they consented to Magistrate Judge John Love. Court recessed. Court addressed parties in Case No. 607cv396 Dexas v OfficeMax regarding related case. Mr. Findlay would indicated plaintiff would consent. Mr. Mason addressed the Court and could not inform the court at this time. Court in recess. Hearing resumed. Judge Love gave parties their prospective Markman Hearing Dates and Jury Selection Dates as indicated below.
