Defendant § § § § § § § § § CASE NO. 6:08 CV 88 ORDER On November 25, 2008, Apple filed its First Amended Answer, Affirmative Defenses and Counterclaims (Docket No. 48) in which Apple, for the first time, asserted that Mirror Worlds LLC and Mirror Worlds Technology, Inc.--an entity not yet a party to this case--infringe U.S. Patent No. 6,613,101--a patent not yet in this case. The deadline to join additional parties and assert counterclaims was November 3, 2008 (Docket No. 39). Accordingly, the Court ORDERS Apple to file a motion for leave to amend its answer within five days of this Order.
