YAHOO!’S UNOPPOSED MOTION FOR
AN EXTENSION OF TIME TO FILE BILL OF COSTS
Defendant Yahoo! Inc. (“Yahoo”) hereby files this motion to extend the deadlines
relating to Bill of Costs disputes in the above-referenced litigation. Plaintiff Bedrock Computer
Technologies, LLC (“Bedrock”) does not oppose this motion.
Pursuant to L.R. CV-54, the deadline for filing a Bill of Costs is 14 days after the clerk
enters judgment on the docket. In light of the Court’s preference to resolve pending disputes
prior to entering final judgment (Dkt. No. 828), the parties understand that if the Bill of Costs
must be filed as a “disagreed” document, it should be filed alongside supporting documentation
on the same date as post-trial motions on June 3, 2011. At this time, the parties have not reached
agreement on taxable costs pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1920. In an effort to continue to meet and
confer according to L.R. 7(h) in hopes of further resolving outstanding disputes, Yahoo! requests
that the deadline for filing a disagreed Bill of Costs be extended to June 6, 2011.
