J.C. PENNEY’S NOTICE OF TIME ESTIMATE FOR TRIAL
Pursuant to the Court’s Docket Control Order (as amended), Defendant J.C.
Penney Corporation, Inc. (“JCP”) notifies the Court and the parties that it requests the
following amount of time at jury selection and trial.
If JCP is assigned to try the case with Adobe Systems, Inc., then JCP requests a
total of 10 hours for jury selection and trial as follows: (1) voir dire – 45 minutes,
(2) opening statements – 45 minutes, (3) direct and cross examinations - 7.5 hours and
(4) closing arguments – 1 hour.
If JCP is not assigned to try the case with Adobe Systems, Inc., then JCP requests
a total of 15 hours for jury selection and trial as follows: (1) voir dire – 45 minutes,
(2) opening statements – 45 minutes, (3) direct and cross examinations - 12.5 hours and
(4) closing arguments – 1 hour.
