Defendant Staples, Inc., ("Staples") hereby files this Notice that it opposes Plaintiff Eolas

Technologies' Motion for Leave to File Amended Complaint to Add The Regents of the

University of California (the "University") as Co-Plaintiff, Dkt. No. 890 (the "Motion")' Staples
was inadvertently omitted from Defendants' response brief in opposition to the Motion, Dkt' No.
955, flrled August 29,2011, and hereby notifies the Court that it joins in Defendants' opposition.
