CV-14-0151-LRS 9 ORDER OF DISMISSAL Plaintiffs, 10 vs. 11 12 13 SPOKANE NEIGHBORHOOD ACTION PARTNERS, Defendant. 14 The pro se plaintiffs, now proceeding in forma pauperis, filed a 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 complaint on May 23, 2014. On July 7, 2014, the Court screened said complaint for legal and factual sufficiency and determined Plaintiffs’ Complaint failed to comply with Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. Plaintiffs indicate jurisdiction is based on alleged violations of the Fair Housing Authority Act. Further, Plaintiffs allege that this court has jurisdiction under “28 U.S.C. Washington State.” It is not clear if Defendant Spokane Neighborhood Action Partners is a Public 23 Housing Unit or whether Riverwalk Apartments is the true unnamed 24 Defendant in the unintelligible complaint filed by Plaintiffs. 25 The Court is mindful that the Plaintiffs are proceeding pro se 26 and that their submissions should be held to less stringent standards 27 than formal pleadings drafted by lawyers. 28 ORDER OF DISMISSAL – 1 However, the Plaintiffs’ 1 claim(s) fail under Fed.R.Civ.Pro., Rule 8(a). 2 has not been shown and Plaintiffs’ alleged cause of action is neither 3 apparent nor set forth with sufficient clarity to permit this matter 4 to go forward. 5 Federal jurisdiction IT IS HEREBY ORDERED: Plaintiffs’ action is DISMISSED without 6 prejudice. 7 No. 3, is DENIED as MOOT. 8 9 10 Plaintiffs’ Motion to Obtain ECF Login and Password, ECF IT IS SO ORDERED.
