KILLINGER, et al., Defendants. 15 16 17 The following Minute Order is made by direction of the Court, the Honorable Marsha J. 18 Pechman, United States District Judge: 19 This minute order summarizes the Court’s ruling and directives set out in full at the 20 telephonic conference held on July 6, 2011. The Court requires the parties to submit a new joint 21 status report by no later than July 20, 2011. The parties should address the following issues in 22 the report: (1) if and how the parties intend to use information and discovery obtained in the 23 multidistrict litigation involving Washington Mutual, Inc. (No. 08-md-1919 MJP), and how the 24 parties will obtain the consent of the parties involved in the MDL if they seek to use such MINUTE ORDER- 1 1 materials; (2) a realistic list of how many depositions will be needed in this case; (3) a proposed 2 electronic discovery protocol to cover all electronic discovery in this case; and (4) whether the 3 trial schedule can be shortened based on a narrowed number of depositions. 4 The clerk is ordered to provide copies of this order to all counsel. 5 Filed this 8th day of July, 2011. 6 William M.
