1 HONORABLE RICHARD A. JONES 2 3 4 5 6 7 UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT WESTERN DISTRICT OF WASHINGTON AT SEATTLE 8 9 10 ELLEN C GRIFFIN, 11 Plaintiff, 12 14 15 ORDER v. 13 CASE NO. C15-1088 RAJ SOCIETY OF PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING EMPLOYEES IN AEROSPACE, 16 Defendant. 17 18 The Court has reviewed Plaintiff’s motion for reconsideration (Dkt. # 22). 19 Pursuant to Local Rules W.D. Wash. CR 7(h)(1), motions for reconsideration are 20 disfavored, and will ordinarily be denied unless there is a showing of (a) manifest error in 21 the prior ruling, or (b) facts or legal authority which could not have been brought to the 22 attention of the court earlier, through reasonable diligence. The sole basis for 23 reconsideration is Plaintiff’s repeated and conclusory argument that she has presented 24 sufficient evidence to prove her claims. The Court has already ruled on this argument, 25 and Plaintiff fails to present a single new legal argument or piece of new evidence that 26 27 ORDER- 1 1 she could not have offered prior to this motion. Plaintiff’s motion for reconsideration is 2 therefore DENIED. Dkt. # 22. 3 4 Dated this 24th day of February, 2017. 5 6 A 7 8 The Honorable Richard A.
