Plaintiff Word to Info, Inc. and defendant Microsoft Corporation, through their
undersigned counsel, stipulate and agree as follows:
On April 17, 2017, Plaintiff Word to Info, Inc. filed a Complaint against Microsoft,
seeking recovery under the Patent Laws of the United States, Title 35 of the United States Code.
Plaintiff served its Complaint on Microsoft on or about April 20, 2017. Accordingly, absent an
extension of time, Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 12(a)(1)(A) would require Microsoft to
answer, move or otherwise respond to the Complaint on or before May 11, 2017. To allow
Microsoft’s counsel adequate time to investigate the allegations of the Complaint, Microsoft’s
counsel has requested an extension of time within which to answer, move or otherwise respond
to the Complaint, and Plaintiff’s counsel has agreed to that request.
Based on the foregoing, the parties hereby stipulate and agree that the time for Microsoft
to answer, move or otherwise respond to the Complaint is extended thirty (30) days until June
12, 2017.
