On August 5, 2010, defendant Jan Brewer, in her official capacity as Governor of the State of Arizona ("Brewer"), and the City of Tucson ("Tucson") filed a stipulation for extension of time to file response to defendant Brewer's motion for judgment on the pleadings (doc. 85). The Court extended the response deadline for Tucson's response to Brewer's motion for judgment on the pleadings to September 10, 2010 (doc. 88). Brewer and Tucson believe that a further extension will clarify the issues to be presented to the Court. Accordingly, the parties stipulate and request that Tucson's response to Brewer's motion for judgment on the pleadings shall not be due until October 1, 2010.
