On August 22, 2011, Plaintiff filed the original complaint. (Doc. 18 1). Plaintiff has failed to sign his original complaint. Every pleading, written motion, and any other 19 papers submitted to the court must be signed. Local Rule 131; Fed. R. Civ. P. 11(a). Based on the 20 foregoing, the Court HEREBY ORDERS: 21 1. 22 Plaintiff’s complaint filed August 22, 2011, is ordered to be STRICKEN due to lack of signature; 23 2. The Clerk's Office shall send Plaintiff a civil rights complaint form; 24 3. Within thirty (30) days from the date of service of this order, Plaintiff must file a 25 original complaint curing the deficiencies identified by the Court in this order; and 26 /// 27 /// 28 /// 1 1 4. 2 3 If Plaintiff fails to comply with this order, this action will be dismissed for failure to obey a court order.
