OFFICER MALDINADO, et al., 11 FORTY-FIVE (45) DAY DEADLINE Defendants. 12 13 Plaintiff Michael Jacobsen (“Plaintiff”) is a pretrial detainee proceeding pro se in this civil 14 rights action under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. Plaintiff has not paid the $400.00 filing fee or submitted an 15 application to proceed in forma pauperis under 28 U.S.C. § 1915. 16 Accordingly, the Court HEREBY ORDERS that: 1. The Clerk’s Office shall send Plaintiff the attached form for application to proceed 17 in forma pauperis; and 18 19 2. Within forty-five (45) days of the date of service of this order, Plaintiff shall 20 submit the attached application to proceed in forma pauperis, completed and 21 signed, or in the alternative, pay the $400.00 filing fee for this action. No requests 22 for extension will be granted without a showing of good cause. Failure to 23 comply with this order will result in dismissal of this action. 24 25 26 IT IS SO ORDERED.
