Plaintiff Jeanette Hoskins filed an unsigned complaint on November 13, 2017, along with

14 an application to proceed in forma pauperis pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1915. On November 15,
15 2017, an order was filed striking the unsigned complaint, and Plaintiff filed a signed complaint
16 the same day. The Court has reviewed Plaintiff’s application to proceed in forma pauperis in this
17 action and determines that it demonstrates entitlement to proceed without prepayment of fees.

Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT:

Plaintiff’s application to proceed in forma pauperis is GRANTED;

2.
The Clerk of Court is DIRECTED to issue a summons; and

3.
The United States Marshal is DIRECTED to serve a copy of the complaint,
summons, and this order upon the defendant if requested by the plaintiff.
