Petitioner Mandeep Singh has filed a petition for writ of habeas corpus alleging that

13 venue is proper in this district because "Petitioner is detained by Respondents at the Yuba 14 County Jail in Marysville, California, which is within this District." Pet. at 3. However, 15 Marysville, California, lies within the Eastern District of California, not the Northern 16 District. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that this case be 17 transferred to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California. See 18 28 U.S.C. § 1406(a).
