(Dkt. 20 No. 1.) 21 removal. (Dkt. No. 2) The Court has reviewed the IFP Application and finds that Plaintiff 22 qualifies. Therefore, the IFP Application is GRANTED. 23 Plaintiff filed an application to proceed in forma pauperis (“IFP”) with the notice of On October 24, 2013, Defendants filed a motion to remand the action to state court 24 contesting federal subject matter jurisdiction. (Dkt. No. 8.) Plaintiff’s opposition to the 25 motion was due November 7, 2013. To date, Plaintiff has failed to file a response to the 26 motion as required by Local Rule 7-3 or communicate with the Court in any way. 27 Accordingly, Plaintiff is ORDERED TO SHOW CAUSE regarding his failure to respond to 28 the remand motion by December 2, 2013. In addition, Plaintiff must simultaneously (1) submit his opposition to the motion or (2) file a statement of non-opposition to the motion as 1 required by Civil Local Rule 7-3(b).
