See Docket No. 6. The Court cautioned Plaintiff that failure to file 16 an amended complaint by the deadline would result in the dismissal of this action. See id. at 8. 17 Plaintiff did not file an amended complaint, and the deadline by which to do so has long passed. 18 Although Plaintiff failed to file an amended complaint, she did file document entitled “writ 19 of mandamus to withdraw beneficiary, re-appoint original beneficiary.” Docket No. 7. The 20 document makes no sense, does not provide the information the Court directed Plaintiff to provide 21 in an amended complaint, and fails to state a claim upon which relief may be granted. 22 Accordingly, this action is dismissed for failure to state a claim upon which relief may be 23 granted. The Clerk shall close the file 24 IT IS SO ORDERED. 25 Dated: April 12, 2018 26 27 28 ______________________________________ EDWARD M. CHEN United States District Judge
