This declaration is submitted Wong of San Francisco, California. in support of a Motion for Attorneys' Fees in Yick Hung Sim v. USCIS, et al., C-04-4643 CW. 2. I am a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, having received a A.B. degree in Biochemistry in 1970. 3. From 1971 to 1973, I was a Frederick Burk Fellow at San Francisco State University, performing Cell and Molecular Biology research. 4. From 1973 to 1976 I was an Instructor in the Department of Chemistry at City College of San Francisco. 5. In 1977, while attending Antioch School of Law in Washington, D.C., I interned as a Research Law Clerk in the Criminal Felony Division of the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. 6. In 1978, while attending Antioch School of Law, I interned in the Office of Senator Alan Cranston in Washington, D.C. I gathered information and organized a symposium on the economic conversion of out dated industries into economically viable industries. 7. In 1980, I passed the Pennsylvania Bar Exam. I am currently on inactive status with the Pennsylvania Bar. 9. Since November 2001 I have been a member of the Washington State Bar, and I am in active status. 9. From 1979 until 1981, I was a Reginald Heber Smith I Community Lawyer Fellow at St. Croix, Virginia Islands. assisted with the Virgin Island's efforts to pass the Virgin Islands Alien Adjustment Act of 1981 through the U.S. Congress. 10. Since 1981 I have practiced law in San Francisco. My practice is limited to Immigration Law. 11. I am a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association ("AILA"), an affiliate of the American Bar Association. AILA and is the only national organization of immigration lawyers in the United States. 12. The usual hourly rate that I charge for immigration My fees for matters requiring litigation is $250.00 per hour. other specialized immigration matters range on an hourly basis from $ 200.00 to $300.00 per hour. 13.
