CHANDLER, 10 Plaintiff, 11 v. 12 GREG LEWIS, 13 Defendant. 14 15 ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) No. C 11-1082 LHK (PR) ORDER OF DISMISSAL On February 24, 2011, Plaintiff, proceeding pro se, filed a letter in the Eastern District of 16 California, which commenced this action. On March 3, 2011, the case was transferred to this 17 Court. On April 18, 2011, the Clerk notified Plaintiff that he had not paid the filing fee nor had 18 he filed an application to proceed in forma pauperis (“IFP”). Along with the deficiency notice, 19 Plaintiff was provided with a new IFP application and instructions for completing it. Plaintiff 20 was further cautioned that his failure to either file a completed IFP application or pay the filing 21 fee within thirty days would result in the dismissal of this action. To date, Plaintiff has not 22 communicated with the Court. Accordingly, the instant action is DISMISSED without prejudice 23 to Plaintiff filing a new action in which he either pays the filing fee or files a completed IFP 24 application.
