Roy Twersky
Co-Founder, Chairman, President & CEO Roy Twersky is Co-Founder, Chairman, President and CEO of UTOPY. He has over fifteen years experience in e nt erpri s e technology and venture capital. He manages all as pect s of the company's operations and brings t re me ndous energy and strategic vision to the company. Pri or to co-founding UTOPY, Roy was co-founder and Di re ct or of Blumberg Capital, a leading venture capital fi rm. He helped build Blumberg's portfolio companies and as s i s t e d leading software startups in strategy, business devel opment , and financing. While in this role, he s ucces s ful l y negotiated partnerships with leading hi gh-t e ch companies and raised funding totaling more than $50 million. Prior to Blumberg Capital, Mr. Twersky was an i nve s t me nt banker at JP Morgan Chase and IDB Group, a l eadi ng investment group in Israel. Roy received his MBA from the Wharton School of Business and his undergraduate degree in economics and mat he mat i cs magna cum laude from Tel Aviv University. He has also completed the All-But-Dissertation requi re me nt s for the PhD program at Stanford University's Graduat e School of Business. He served as a systems anal ys t in the Israeli army computer unit, participating in t he design and development of the army computerized management information systems.

Yochai Konig, Ph.D.

C o-Founde r, Chief Technology Officer Y ochai is UTOPY's Chief Technology Officer and one of the company's co-founders. He has more than fifteen years of e xperi e nce in the research and development of machine l earni ng, statistical pattern recognition, speech recognition and speaker verification technologies. While at Stanford Res earch Institute (SRI), Yochai created and developed s pe ech recognition and understanding technology as part of a Department of Defense project. Yochai also served in t he Israeli Air Force, where he was recognized for his work on a voice communications system. Y ochai received his PhD in computer science from the Uni vers i t y of California, Berkeley and received his BSc in comput er engineering summa cum laude from the Technion i n Haifa, Israel.

Paul Beyer

Vice President, Global Sales P aul is a seasoned sales and business development e xe cut i ve with over 17 years experience in the Customer Servi ce Delivery and Contact Center industries. He has s ucces s ful l y developed elite sales organizations, cons i s t ent l y grown company revenues through direct and channe l sales, and managed long-term customer rel at i ons hi ps . Pri or to joining UTOPY, Paul worked in senior consulting and management roles for CSC Consulting and eLoyalty. W hi l e in consulting, Paul helped Global 1000 companies devel op strategy, design programs and execute projects in t he areas of Customer Loyalty, CRM, Call Centers, Bus i ne s s Analytics and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). David Konig

Vice President, Research & Development Davi d is responsible for UTOPY's product development organi z at i on where he ensures quality delivery of worl d-cl as s solutions to our diverse customer base. He al s o serves as the General Manager for UTOPY's Israeli ope rat i ons . Davi d is an experienced software development executive wi t h over twelve years of experience in software devel opment management. He has significant experience i n speech recognition solutions, computer telephony pl a t forms , agent productivity, and multi-channel communi cat i ons . As one of the founding engineers at Utopy, David has cont ri but e d significantly to UTOPY's core technologies and i nfras t ruct ure. Prior to UTOPY, David headed the devel opment of Jacada's flagship Agent desktop solution. In addition, David has held development and management pos i t i ons with BigBand Networks and Elbit Systems. Davi d received his BSc in computer engineering from the Techni on in Haifa, Israel.

Hernan Guelman

Director, Product Management Hernan Guelman is the Director of Product Management at UTO PY where he is responsible for product strategy for our award-wi nni ng product line. Pri or to his current role at UTOPY, Hernan was a Senior Soft ware Engineer with the company where he worked on devel opi ng the voice recognition and statistical engine for t he system. He has additional experience from Israeli t echnol ogy companies, including expertise in chip design and EDA tools. Hernan holds a BS from Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Is rael and an MBA from the University of San Francisco.

Rena Kaminsky, Associate
