DECLARATION OF JOHN D. HARKRIDER IN SUPPORT OF
APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION TO PRACTICE PRO HAG VICE
JOHN D. HARKRIDER hereby declares as follows:
1. My name is John David Harkrider and I submit this declaration in support of my
application, pursuant to Local Rule 83.2(d), for admission to practice

pro hac vice.

2. I am a partner in the law firm of Axinn, Veltrop & Harkrider LLP, which represents nonparty Google Inc. in the above-captioned matter. If I am admitted to practice pro hac

vice, I will enter my appearance on behalf of Google Inc. along with Michael L. Keeley, a
member in good standing of the Bar of this Court and partner at the law firm of Axinn,
Veltrop & Harkrider. I understand that, pursuant to Local Rule 812(c)(1), Mr. Keeley
must co-sign any paper I submit in this action.

4. I am a member in good standing of the Bars of the State of New York and the District of
Columbia, as well as those of the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second, Sixth
and Seventh Circuits and the United States District Court for the Southern District of

6. I have been admitted pro hac vice in this Court twice within the last two years (United
States v. Bemis Company, Inc., No. 1:10-cv-00295-CKK; United States v. Google Inc.,
No. 1:11-cv-00688-RLW).
7. Although my law firm has an office within the District of Columbia, I do not practice law
from that office, or any other office within the District of Columbia.
8. I am familiar with the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and the Local Rules of this Court.
