Thompson v. The Florida Bar Doc. 285 IN THE UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE SOUTHERN DISTRICT OF FLORIDA JOHN B. THOMPSON, Plaintiff, v. THE FLORIDA BAR and DAVA J. TUNIS, Defendants. PLAINTIFF'S REQUEST/MOTION THAT THE COURT TAKE JUDICIAL NOTICE COMES NOW plaintiff, John B. Thompson, hereinafter Thompson, as an attorney on his own behalf, and moves this court to take judicial notice of the following: The attached letter to all twenty Florida State Attorneys is precisely the kind of First Amended-protected petition speech that the legal terrorists at Blank Rome seek to punish, through The Florida Bar, while Ian Comisky of Blank Rome sits, as an out-ofstate, lawyer, on the Board of Florida Bar Governors. Florida Bar Governors, some of them anyway, presumably have children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, who are in harm's way because of the criminal activities of SLAPP Bar complainant Take-Two/Blank Rome. I am more than happy to protect these kids if the dangerous hypocrites on The Florida Bar are unwilling to do so. I HEREBY CERTIFY that this has been served upon record counsel this 30th day of October, 2007, electronically. /s/ JOHN B. THOMPSON, Plaintiff Attorney, Florida Bar #231665 1172 South Dixie Hwy., Suite 111 Coral Gables, Florida 33146 Phone: 305-666-4366 Case No. 07-21256 (Judge Adalberto Jordan) 1 Dockets.Justia.com
