PLAINTIFF'S NOTICE TO THE COURT OF NORM KENT'S CONTINUING SLAPP ACTIVITIES, WITH THE BAR, AND WITHOUT COMES NOW petitioner, John B. Thompson, and provides notice to the court as follows: Norm Kent, the noted public proponent of illegal marijuana use, the disseminator of "obscenity" (this court's word) by means of his Bar-regulated law firm web site, the brander as "criminals" of law enforcement officials who enforce drug laws, the man who was suspended from the practice of law for stealing money from a dead client, and on and on, now seeks to have Thompson held in criminal contempt for alleged violation of an agreement that eschews contempt as a remedy and that Mr. Kent knows was not even violated. Mr. Kent will not be satisfied, it seems, until one of his motions seeking a court order prohibiting Thompson from quoting Scripture is granted. This is the man who claims on his web site that he is a defender of freedom of speech--not if one engages in speech Mr. Kent thinks might shed light on the One who created the Universe that contains Mr. Kent. Mr. Kent, The Bar's co-conspirator in its and his serial violations of federal civil rights laws, as well as Florida's Religious Freedom Restoration Act and its Anti-SLAPP Statute, apparently learned nothing from having repeatedly, over the past twenty years, filed SLAPP Bar complaints against Thompson that went nowhere, most notably his crazed attempt to pathologize Thompson's faith through The Bar's lunacy exams. More recently, the noted legal terrorist, Mr. Kent, filed a Bar complaint against Thompson for not apologizing for filing a decency complaint against the Howard Stern Show. Thompson would now like to apologize for noting having filed more decency complaints against Stern. Even The Bar eventually threw Kent's SLAPP complaint into the trash. Given the multi-faceted assault upon Thompson by Kent, Tew Cardenas, Beasley Broadcast Group, Take-Two Interactive Software, Blank Rome, and by the Guardians of Democracy at The Bar itself, why does Thompson not surrender to these Taliban-like nitwits? Thompson does not surrender because this is an important battle far beyond Thompson and his self-interest. As proof, Thompson received the attached letter today from Nathaniel Brazill, a young man who shot and killed his favorite teacher in Lake Worth, Florida, Barry Grunow. He did so after months and months of consuming violent entertainment provided to him by a negligent mother who raised him on this "entertainment." The entertainment included the Grand Theft Auto games marketed and sold to minors by SLAPP complainant Take-Two, and which that very industry still claims has no effect upon anyone anywhere. This "ideas don't matter" message is from a company that spends millions of dollars on advertising. Just think of that.

Mr. Kent will continue to distribute his obscenity to minors. Thompson will continue to try to hold onto his law license because there are other Barry Grunows and Nat Brazills out there whose lives are being destroyed by racketeers like Norm Kent and his clients. Further, this court, which has gone out of its way, improperly, to harm Thompson, does so at the expense of others whose interests Thompson seeks to serve. No one in the public, not a single client, has ever complained about Thompson. The only people who cowardly use The Bar are those who can't defeat Thompson on their own because they lack the law, they lack the facts, and they lack the ability to do so. The Norm Kents of this world are the ones who should be disbarred and/or incarcerated for his and their relentless assault upon the law, upon common decency, and upon other people's children. Norm Kent never had a child, so we can possibly forgive this bitter man, in part, but only in part, for not understanding and not caring about other people's children. It is easier to harm a child when you do not know and couldn't care less how hard it is to nurture them to a healthy adulthood. Nathaniel Brazill is rotting in jail because of scoundrels like Mr. Kent. Thompson has sought for twenty years to do something about that, and no court and no Bar are going to stop Thompson from doing what he needs to do, within the law, to try to curtail the tragedies caused by corporation predation at the expense of children.
