Thompson v. The Florida Bar Doc. 345 IN THE UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE SOUTHERN DISTRICT OF FLORIDA JOHN B. THOMPSON, Plaintiff, v. THE FLORIDA BAR and DAVA J. TUNIS, JOHN HARKNESS, AND FRANK ANGONES, Defendants. PLAINTIFF'S MOTION THAT THE COURT TAKE JUDICIAL NOTICE COMES NOW petitioner, John B. Thompson, and asks that the court take judicial notice of the fact that four members of the United States Senate are now expressing the very same concerns that have animated Thompson's criticism of SLAPP Bar complainant Take-Two. Take-Two's assault upon Thompson via The Bar is fraudulent and intended to cover-up the issue that these Senators are now addressing. A copy of Senator Case No. 07-21256 (Judge Adalberto Jordan) Lieberman's letter and Thompson's letter to him in that regard are attached. Is this court not aware of what is going on here? If so, it's the only one. I hereby certify that the foregoing has been provided to opposing counsel through the court's electronic filing system, this November 20, 2007. /s/ JOHN B. THOMPSON, Plaintiff Attorney, Florida Bar #231665 1172 South Dixie Hwy., Suite 111 Coral Gables, Florida 33146 Phone: 305-666-4366 amendmentone@comcast.net 1 Dockets.Justia.com
