UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE NORTHERN DISTRICT OF GEORGIA ATLANTA DIVISION CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY PRESS, et al., Plaintiffs, -vs.MARK P. BECKER, in his official capacity as Georgia State University President, et al., Defendants. SCHEDULING ORDER REGARDING EXPERT DISCOVERY Upon review of the Parties' Proposed Scheduling Orders Regarding Expert Discovery, the Court orders that the Parties shall proceed according to the following schedule: (a) Defendants shall produce all documents related to the expert report of Kenneth Crews (including responsive documents in Dr. Crews' possession) within five (5) days of the entry of this order, and make Dr. Crews available for deposition within ten (10) days of the production of such documents. (b) Plaintiffs shall inform Defendants no more than seven (7) days after the deposition of Dr. Crews whether they intend to submit an expert report. If not, Civil Action File No.1:08-CV-1425-ODE

the expert discovery period shall close on the seventh day following the deposition, and summary judgment motions shall be due no more than thirty (30) days later, consistent with the Court's order of July 30, 2009. (c) If the Plaintiffs inform Defendants that they do intend to submit expert reports, they shall submit such reports no more than forty-five (45) days after providing such notice, and then proceed according to the remainder of this schedule. (d) Plaintiffs shall produce all documents related to the their expert report(s) (including responsive documents in the expert's possession) within five (5) days of the submission of Plaintiffs' expert report(s), and make their expert(s) available for deposition within ten (10) days of the production of such documents. (e) If Plaintiffs submit expert reports, Defendants shall be permitted to submit a rebuttal expert report no more than fifteen (15) days after their deposition(s) of Plaintiffs' expert(s). (f) Defendants shall produce all documents related to their rebuttal expert report (including responsive documents in the expert's possession) within five (5) days of its submission, and make the expert available for deposition within ten (10) days of the production of such documents.
