UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT W E S T E R N DISTRICT OF LOUISIANA S H R E V E P O R T DIVISION R O B E R T LEROY McCOY V ER SU S C R A IG STOKES, ET AL C IV IL ACTION NO. 08-cv-1918 J U D G E HICKS M A G I S T R A T E JUDGE HORNSBY JUDGMENT P la in tif f has filed written objections to the Report and Recommendation of the m a g is tra te Judge previously filed herein. These objections and the affidavits supporting them a re in large part irrelevant to the case at hand in that they complain of a failure to file c rim in a l actions against various officers as well as perceived injustices in Plaintiff's criminal tria l. What statements are relevant to this case merely recount his previous arguments made to the Magistrate and are conclusory at best. The objections give no additional information n o r lend themselves to a separate response by this Court. Therefore, for the reasons assigned in the Report and Recommendation of the M a g is tra te Judge previously filed herein, and having thoroughly reviewed the record, in c lu d in g the written objections filed, and concurring with the findings of the Magistrate J u d g e under the applicable law; I T IS ORDERED that Defendants' Motion for Summary Judgment (Doc. 24) is g r a n te d , dismissing all of Plaintiff's claims. I T IS FURTHER ORDERED that Plaintiff's Motion for Preliminary Injunction (Doc. 31) is denied as moot. I T IS FURTHER ORDERED that Defendants' Motion to Dismiss (Doc. 21) is d e n ie d as moot. T H U S DONE AND SIGNED at Shreveport, Louisiana, this the 28th day January, 2010.
