About BuzzFeed Community
BuzzFeed Community is the home for awesome posts created by BuzzFeeders. If you like to share
humor, cool stuff you've found, insights into identity and fandom, personality and trivia quizzes, and
the occasional ode to Taylor Swift, then this is the place for you! To become a part of BuzzFeed's
Community, all you need to do is sign up for an account and make a post! If you think the post would
do well on BuzzFeed, then click "Suggest" to suggest your post to our Community editors!
If the post you suggest is good or fun or original or interesting or some glorious combination of those
four things, our editors will feature it on the BuzzFeed Community page.
If you are an organization, a brand, or an individual with a political, commercial, or self-promotional
agenda, BuzzFeed's Community platform is probably not the best place for you. To learn more, go
here.

How do I create a quiz?

Quizzes are all the rage; they're super fun, addicting, and pretty easy to make! How the hell are you
going to know which Harry Potter character you are if there's no BuzzFeed quiz to help you figure it
out? If there's a quiz you'd like to see on the site, whether it's about your favorite show, something
you love, or just about your group of friends, you can now create your own and post it! We have a

What is Cat Power?
Source youtube.com / Via: buzzfeed.com
As you know, the internet is powered primarily by cats, so your Cat Power on BuzzFeed is an official
measure of your rank in BuzzFeed's Community. The more you are featured and the better you get at
making awesome posts, the higher your Cat Power will be, and with great Cat Power comes great
Cat Responsibility, which, I don't know what that means, but it's fun to say. When you first sign up for
BuzzFeed, you will have one opportunity to suggest a post each day. After your first post is accepted,
your Cat Power will go from 0 to 1, and over time, as more of your posts are accepted, your Cat
Power will increase, giving you more opportunities to suggest posts for the Community page in
addition to other cool perks and privileges.

When you're in the CMS, aka in your draft, the "suggest" button will be on the righthand side below
the thumbnail uploads. If you're still confused, look at the GIF above. If the suggest button is not
showing up, contact us and we'll look into it.
If I forget to suggest my post, will it still get promotion?

Our team of Community editors will review your post, whether you suggested or not. So if you forgot
to click suggest, no worries! As long as the team of editors likes your post, it will still get promoted.

What is your policy on brands, organizations, political
and self-promotional Community accounts?
Source: NBC

include any accounts with a political, commercial, or promotional agenda. You can learn more about
our new guidelines for brands and Community accounts here. Please note that if you do post on
behalf of a brand, organization, political/public figure, etc., your account will likely be removed.
