AFFIDAVIT OF JOSEPH R. SCHOTTENFELD
In accordance with Rule 1.3 of the Local Rules of the United States Courts for the Southern District
of New York, I, Joseph R. Schottenfeld, state as follows:
1.

My name is Joseph R. Schottefneld and I am over twenty-one (21) years of age. I

am of sound mind and perfectly competent in all respects to make this Affidavit. I am an attorney
for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (the “NAACP”).
2.

I am a member in good standing and eligible to practice before the state court of

the District of Columbia. A certificate of good standing is attached to this Affidavit.
3.

I have never been convicted of a felony. I am not currently, nor have I ever been,

censured, suspended, disbarred, or denied admission or readmission by any court in any
jurisdiction in which I have been admitted. I have never been the subject of disciplinary
proceedings by the bar or courts of any jurisdiction.
4.

I declare under penalty of perjury that the foregoing is true and correct.
