Defendant Tina Mellen Stepp Thomas moves this court to modify the mediation
attendance requirements by allowing her to attend the mediation of this case scheduled
for February 6th in Pembroke, North Carolina via telephone on the grounds that requiring
her to attend in person would cause an undue burden on her and her employer. Plaintiff’s
consent to Mrs. Thomas’s attendance via telephone was sought. Plaintiff declined to give
such consent.
