PRESENTLY BEFORE THE COURT is the motion of William F. Lee, Jamie S.
Gorelick, Paul R.Q. Wolfson, and Jennifer M. O’Connor of Wilmer Cutler Pickering
Hale & Dorr LLP to withdraw from this case as counsel for defendants Duke University,
Duke University Health System, Inc., Richard Brodhead, Peter Lange, Larry Moneta,
John Burness, Tallman Trask, Suzanne Wasiolek, Mathew Drummond, Aaron Graves,
Robert Dean, Tara Levicy, Theresa Arico, Victor Dzau, Duke University Police
Department, Leila Humphries, Phyllis Cooper, William F. Garber, II, James Schwab,
Joseph Fleming, Jeffrey O. Best, Gary N. Smith, Greg Stotsenberg, Robert K. Steel,
Private Diagnostic Clinic, PLLC, Julie Manly, Allison Haltom, and Kemel Dawkins
(“Duke Defendants”).
Based on the motion submitted to the Court, and it appearing that the Duke
Defendants consent to the entry of this Order, the Court finds good cause for allowing

William F. Lee, Jamie S. Gorelick, Paul R.Q. Wolfson, and Jennifer M. O’Connor of
Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale & Dorr LLP to withdraw as counsel.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED, ADJUDGED, AND DECREED, for good cause
shown, that the motion of William F. Lee, Jamie S. Gorelick, Paul R.Q. Wolfson, and
Jennifer M. O’Connor of Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale & Dorr LLP to withdraw as
counsel for the Duke Defendants is GRANTED and that William F. Lee, Jamie S.
Gorelick, Paul R.Q. Wolfson, and Jennifer M. O’Connor of Wilmer Cutler Pickering
Hale & Dorr LLP are fully discharged from representation of the Duke Defendants in this
matter and shall have no further responsibility with regard to this case.
