United States District Court for the District of Oregon Case No. ____________ 1. I, Kelly Cahill, consent to be a party plaintiff in the above-listed action under 29 U.S.C. § 216(b), and agree to be bound by any settlement or judgment of the Court in the action. 2. I worked for Defendant Nike, Inc. in and around Washington County, Oregon from November 2012 to July 2017. I worked in a Senior Producer role, a position that Nike classified as independent contractor, until October 2013, at which time I became a Director and was classified as an employee by Nike. 3. During my time at Nike, on information and belief, I was paid less than male Nike employees for substantially equal work with respect to salary, bonuses, and equity compensation. When I was hired as a full-time employee Director, I was asked what my salary was as a contractor. I started at $110,000 and when I left I had a salary of about $127,000. On information and belief, a male Director on my Team, Tim Ramirez, had a salary that was approximately $20,000 higher than my salary. I sought a promotion to Senior Director, but was unsuccessful, despite consistently meeting and exceeding my performance goals and having gained significant, relevant experience prior to working at Nike. After I left Nike, on information and belief, my position was filled by a man who was awarded the Senior Director title. On information and belief, as a Senior Director in the E-Band pay level, my male successor was paid at a higher rate than I had been as a Director in the E-Band pay level. 4. 5. Upon consideration of my rights with respect to my legal representation, I hereby Ackermann & Tilajef PC; India Lin Bodien Law; and Markowitz Herbold PC) to make decisions with respect to the conduct and handling of this action, including the settlement thereof, as they deem appropriate or necessary.
