TIME: 12:55 pm MINUTES: Case called. Jury panel seated in the courtroom. Parties announced ready. (See Sign-In Sheets) Court welcomed the Jury Panel members and thanked them for their service. Court gave the Jury Panel members a brief overview of the case and the schedule of the trial. Court asked Plaintiff to introduce self and counsel any witnesses from the East Texas area that may testify. Mr. Cawley introduced self, co-counsel and their client representative. Mr. Cawley indicated that they have no witnesses from the East Texas area. Mr. Jones introduced self, co-counsel and Google representatives and listed one witness, Keith Ugone. Court inquired if anyone knows these individuals. No response. Juror #8 addressed the Court. Juror #2 addressed the Court. Mr. Cawley conducted voir dire examination on behalf of the Plaintiff, Bedrock. Mr. Jones conducted voir dire examination on behalf of Defendant Google. Court inquired if the jury had any questions. Juror #21 addressed the Court. Juror #14 addressed the Court. Court addressed the Jury Panel and excused them until 2:40 pm.

Clerk read names and 8 jury members seated in the jury box. Court addressed the remaining panel and thanked them for their service. Remaining panel excused from the courtroom. Court asked Clerk to administer oath to the Jury. Jury sworn. Court addressed the Jury members and gave them some preliminary instructions. Court gave the jury an overview of the schedule for trial. Court gave the Jury the 1-800 number to call and check in before trial. Court asked the Jury panel if they had any questions. Jury #4 & 5 addressed the Court. Court excused the Jury and recessed them until Monday, April 11, 2011. Court addressed the parties on exhibits, time set aside for the parties. 2:50 pm There being nothing further, Court adjourned.
