Court addressed the parties on post-trial motions, there is a JMOL and Motion for
Exceptional Case.
Mr. Morisseau presented Yahoo!’s Motion to Declare this an Exceptional Case and for
Attorneys’ Fees and Costs, Doc #842. Ms. Doan addressed the Court as to testimony at
trial. Mr. Morisseau tendered to the Court a packet of documents (code). Mr. Morisseau
continued to address the Court on this Motion. Mr. Morisseau tendered to the Court a copy
of an opinion in the Oracle v Google case, C 10-03561 WHA (CA-N).
Mr. Cawley responded. Mr. Morisseau replied as to electronically filing and referenced a
transcript of May 9th and continued to reply on the motion.
Ms. Doan presented Motion for Judgment as a Matter of Law Regarding Invalidity, Doc
#845.
Mr. Curry responded. Ms. Doan replied. Mr. Morisseau addressed the Court on
preponderance and clear and convincing. Ms. Doan continued to address the Court. Mr.
Curry further responded.
Court will get a ruling out soon.
