On November 4, 2011, Plaintiffs The Regents of the University of California and Eolas Technologies Incorporated (“Plaintiffs”) filed their Motion to Compel Discovery from Staples, Inc. (Dkt. Nos. 1090 and 1091). Plaintiffs request that the Court issue an expedited briefing schedule on this motion and address the motion on an expedited basis. Staples has indicated that it does not oppose this motion. Because the requested discovery is needed for the completion of fact discovery, expert reports and preparation for trial, and because the issues are straight-forward and have been contemplated by the parties for some time, Plaintiffs request that the Court set an expedited briefing schedule for Plaintiffs’ Motion to Compel Discovery from Staples, Inc., as set forth below: Staples’ opposition brief due: Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Plaintiffs’ reply brief due: Friday, November 18, 2011. Staples’ sur-reply brief due: Tuesday, November 22, 2011.
