PLAINTIFFS’ UNOPPOSED MOTION FOR LEAVE TO EXTEND DEADLINES
REGARDING DEPOSITION DESIGNATIONS RELATED TO GOOGLE, INC.
Plaintiffs Eolas Technologies, Inc. and The Regents of The University of California
(collectively “Plaintiffs”) respectfully move for leave to extend the deadlines for Defendant
Google, Inc.’s (“Google”) objections and counter deposition designations and Plaintiffs’
objections and rebuttal deposition designations, and state as follows:
The parties have conferred regarding certain issues concerning Plaintiffs’ initial
deposition designations specifically related to Google witnesses Jonathan Effrat, Shankar
Ganesh, Matthew Gray, Chris Harrelson, Ben Lewis, Shishir Mehrotra, Sundar Pichai, Carlos
Pizano, Brian Rakowski, Gideon Wald, and Joel Webber.
Based upon these discussions,
Plaintiffs respectfully request that the Court grant Google an extension to serve its objections and

counter deposition designations to Plaintiffs’ initial deposition designations to Friday, January
20. Likewise, Plaintiffs respectfully request that the Court grant Plaintiffs an extension to serve
its objections and rebuttal deposition designations to Google’s counter deposition designations to
Friday, January 27.
The parties have met and conferred and this Motion is unopposed. This Motion is not
made for delay and should not impact any other deadline applicable to this case. Accordingly,
the Plaintiffs respectfully move the Court for an Order extending the deadline for Google to
serve its objections and counter-designations to Plaintiffs’ initial designations to Friday, January
20 and the deadline for Plaintiffs’ objections and rebuttal designations to Google’s counterdesignations to January 27, 2012.
