UNOPPOSED MOTION TO WITHDRAW COUNSEL
Plaintiff Wi-LAN Inc. (hereinafter “Plaintiff”) files this Motion to Withdraw Counsel. In
support of this Motion, Plaintiff shows the Court the following:
1. Mr. David D. Hornberger, having appeared in the above-captioned case on behalf of
Plaintiff, has left the firm of Vinson & Elkins L.L.P. and will no longer act as counsel for
Plaintiff in this action.
2. Plaintiff will continue to be represented by David B. Weaver and others of Vinson &
Elkins, L.L.P., and by Wesley Hill and others of the Ward & Smith Law Firm.
3. The withdrawal of David D. Hornberger as counsel for Plaintiff will not delay the
proceedings in this matter.

4. Therefore, Plaintiff requests that this Motion to Withdraw Counsel be granted and that
David D. Hornberger be removed from the official service list in this case.
