MICHAEL A. VALEK AS COUNSEL AND
TERMINATION OF ELECTRONIC NOTICES FOR HIM
Plaintiff Wi-LAN Inc. files this Unopposed Motion for Withdrawal of Michael A. Valek
as Counsel and Termination of Electronic Notices for Him. In support of this Motion, Plaintiff
shows the Court the following:
1. Michael A. Valek, having appeared in the above-captioned case on behalf of Plaintiff,
has left the firm of Vinson & Elkins LLP and will no longer act as counsel for Plaintiff in this
action.
2. Plaintiff will continue to be represented by David B. Weaver and others of Vinson &
Elkins LLP.
3. The withdrawal of Michael A. Valek as counsel for Plaintiff will not delay the
proceedings in this matter.
4. Therefore, Plaintiff requests that this Unopposed Motion for Withdrawal of Michael
A. Valek as Counsel be granted and that he be removed from the official service list in this case.
