Re:
Nokia Corporation v. Apple Inc.
C.A. No. 09-791 (GMS)
Dear Chief Judge Sleet:
We represent Nokia in this case. I write to provide updated infonnation regarding
Nokia's motion seeking a stay of Apple's patent claims pending ongoing re-examination
proceedings (D.l. 80), so that the motion can be decided on a complete record.
Since August 30, 2010, when briefing of Nokia's motion was completed, the
Patent Office has issued four office actions in the pending re-examinations. The Patent Office
issued a notice of allowance of one patent on October 28, 2010, and issued three rejections of
other patents on October 28,2010, November 19, 2010, and December 23,2010. The Office
Actions are attached as Exhibits A-D.
Respectfully,
lsi Jack. (]3. (]3{umenfeCd
