SEVENTH CIRCUIT RULE 3(c) DOCKETING STATEMENT
Defendant-Appellant Ho-Chunk Nation (“the Nation”), by its attorneys, Whyte
Hirschboeck Dudek S.C., submits this Docketing Statement pursuant to Seventh Circuit Rules
3(c) and 28(a).
I. JURISDICTION OF THE DISTRICT COURT
The United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin (“District Court”)
had jurisdiction as this is a civil action arising under the laws of the United States, pursuant to 25
U.S.C. § 2710(d)(7)(A)(ii).
II. JURISDICTION OF THE COURT OF APPEALS
This appeal is taken from the final judgment of the District Court entered on June 13,
2014, by the Honorable Barbara B. Crabb. The Nation timely filed a Notice of Appeal on July
11, 2014, within thirty days after entry of the June 13, 2014 judgment, as required by Rule
4(a)(1)(A) of the Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure. This Court has jurisdiction to decide
this case pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1291 and 28 U.S.C. § 1294.
III. PRIOR RELATED APPELLATE PROCEEDINGS.
There have been no prior or related appellate proceedings in this case.

REMAINING REQUIREMENTS UNDER CIRCUIT RULE 3(C)(1)

This is a civil case with no criminal proceedings. The district court did not make any
designations relating to 28 U.S.C. §1915(g). There are no officers named in this lawsuit.
