Upon receiving this Decision Memorandum, the Deputy Director of the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation, and Enforcement (BOEM) caried out the Decision by directing the rescission of the directed Suspensions of Operations (SOO) issued pursuant to the May 28, 2010, Memorandum of the Secretary and the issuance of new directed SOOs to each of the oil and gas operators who are currently drillng or proposing to dril wells via an approved APD covered by the Decision. The directed SOOs wil be in effect through November 30, 2010, or until such time as the Secretar issues a new directive based on new information. Based on the aforementioned, I hereby rescind the directed SOO issued on June 4,2010, for Well No.9, Lease OCS-G 20725, East Breaks Block 646. For puroses of determining any applicable lease term extension and rental/minimum royalty payments, the directed sao ended on the sta of June 23, 2010. In addition, I hereby direct an SOO from July 12 though November 30, 2010, for Well No.9, Lease OCS-G 20725, East Breaks Block 646 consistent with the new Decision. This SOO is directed pursuant to 30 CFR 250.172(b) and (c) and 30 CFR 250. 168(a) and prohibits the commencement of drillng operations on this well through November 30, 2010, unless this suspension is lifted at an earlier date. Note that, uness there are other ongoing leaseholding operations, the term of this lease/unit wil be extended for a period of time equal to the period that this SOO is in effect per 30 CFR 250.169(a).
