Barbara Mudge began her career in domestic theatrical
distribution booking drive-in theatres, moving on to various
international sales positions at the Cannon Group, New
World Communications and 20th Century Fox. and New
World then entered the international field at the Cannon
Group, continuing at New World Communications as
Managing Director. Mudge created New World’s
International Home Video Specialty Label. She founded
Worldwide Film Entertainment in 1998, which has
represented several notable libraries, including Universal
Studios affiliate USA, Andrew Stevens/Don Kushner’s
Focal Point Releasing and World Wide Pictures from the
Billy Graham Evangelical Organization. Mudge’s television
and film experience includes the licensing of the Oscarwinning film The Assault and Palme d’Or winner A Cry in
