Dear Chris Shea,
This letter is written on behalf of Columbus Institute of Contemporary Journalism on October
25th, 2012 requesting certain public documents as provided for by ORC 149.43. Specifically, we are
requesting the following:
All computer hardware, software, contracts and vendors thereof for election tabulations;
Any and all computer hardware, software, contracts and vendors thereof, and procedures to be
used during in event of a failover event, disaster or cyber attack on during the tabulation of election
results.
The identity of all state employees and private contractors with administrative or physical
access to any and all computer hardware and software used in the tabulation of election results.
We are requesting these records be transmitted to my email address gerrybello@hotmail.com if
they exist electronically as provided for by the provisions of ORC 149.43. If these records do not exist
electronically, please mail them to the address listed below with all due expediency and we will pay
any reasonable cost. Please reply via email that this request has been fulfilled.
