DECLARATION OF CHARLES J. MONTERIO, JR.
IN SUPPORT OF I/P ENGINE INC.’S REPLY IN SUPPORT OF ITS BILL OF COSTS
I, Charles J. Monterio, Jr., declare as follows:
1.
I am an attorney with the law firm of Dickstein Shapiro LLP (“Dickstein”), 1825
Eye Street N.W., Washington, DC 20006 and am counsel for Plaintiff I/P Engine, Inc. (“I/P
Engine”) in the above-captioned case.
2.
Mr. Donald Kosak purchased two business class tickets for his travel between
Hilo, Hawaii and Washington, DC (for this deposition) and Norfolk, VA (for trial), respectively.
3.
I contacted Dickstein’s travel agency and requested the approximate cost of
comparable unrestricted coach class airfares for the similar dates that Mr. Kosak traveled.

4.
The cost for two round-trip unrestricted coach airfares from Hilo, Hawaii to
Washington, DC (for his deposition) and to Norfolk, VA (for trial), respectively, would have
been approximately $7,500.00 (approximately $3,501.00/each).
