Emeril 8-piece German Steel Knife Set with Block

I was so excited to receive this knife set. I loved
the modern, black knife holder and the knives were
very stylish. However, three months into using
them, I started seeing rust spots on the "stainless
steel", and then while cutting an apply, the paring
knife broke in half! The worst part, is HSN has not
returned my money, OR given me a new knife set,
as I don't have "proof" that I sent it back to Plano,
Texas......in spite of the fact that I returned the set
exactly as described by HSN.

Stop settling for second-rate knives and kick your kitchen cutlery up a notch. This set features 6

AND THEY ARE STILL SHARP. NICE LOOKING

Get an email alert when Emeril Lagasse products will be on TV.

They came very sharp - it doesn't last long & then
one at a time the blades started to snap in half
when using the knife one while I was cutting a
turnip & so on.

In September 2011 we lost our homes in the wild
fire of Bastrop, TX.. Bought two set for my sister
and me for our new homes. My son seen my set
and asked for a set for his wedding present in
November. Great set of knives.

My paring knife broke and I called the warranty
number. You are asked to leave your name and
number and they never get back to you. These are
too expensive to be throw-away knives. They look
nice in the stainless steel but it would be nice to be
able to replace them when they break.

I think the presentation is beautiful with my
stainless steel appliances. I bought my set in
March. I don't use them everyday, maybe 1 or 2
times a week. This week the 7in snapped in two
pieces just cutting a chicken breast. I called hsn,
they gave me a number to call for warranty info.,
so we will see.

Two blades broke within a 5 month period. One
blade broke in half while I was cutting a block of
cheese. Another blade broke in half when I
accidentally dropped it on the kitchen floor.

I BOUGHT THE STANLESS STEEL. IT IS A NICE
SET. THE KNIVES ARE SHARP. I LIKE ONE THE
BLOCK WHERE YOU DON'T HAVE TO GUESS
WHICH KNIFE GOES WHERE IT HAS IT ON THE
BLOCK. CLEANS WELL ALSO. THE ONLY
THING WAS WHEN I OPENED THE PACKAGE IT
WAS SO DUSTY THAT YOU REALLY HAD TO
CLEAN THE BLOCK. BUT ON THE OTHER
HAND I LOVE THESE KNIVES.
